Green Bay Packers Four-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft

The Green Bay Packers are going to have a pivotal year. Jordan Love and the receiving core should be coming into their own, while the defense has some nice pieces.

With a quieter free agency, what better way to improve a roster than the 2025 NFL draft? The first four rounds will be the most important to the Packers, as they have defensive and offensive line needs.

Round 1 – Jahdae Barron (CB)

Assuming Jaire Alexander is gone before opening kickoff, Jahdae Barron would fill his shoes perfectly. The Packers are most definitely crossing their fingers that Barron falls to them at 23. Hopefully, his lingering ankle injury will hurt his stock enough to fall to Green Bay. He is great in man coverage and would compliment Keisean Nixon tremendously. It would also lessen the blow of losing one of the league’s best corners. This addition would make Green Bay’s secondary very intimidating heading into the 2025-2026 NFL season.

Round 2 – Nic Scourton (DE)

The Packers would benefit greatly from taking an edge early in the 2025 NFL draft. This position group as a whole has gone through a lot of turmoil this spring. Abdul Carter is guaranteed to go in the top five, and James Pearce Jr. has had behavior problems in Tennessee, which leaves a group of five guys who are all very close to each other. The player the Packers should use their second-rounder on is Nic Scourton. An amazing pass rusher, Scourton would fit second-year defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley’s scheme perfectly. An athletic edge rusher opposite Rashan Gary is exactly what this defensive line needs.

Round 3 – Cam Skattebo (RB)

This would be a big shock to the football world. Cam Skattebo is an electric high-energy running back who would be a perfect fit to run behind Josh Jacobs. After an impressive year at Arizona State University, Skattebo was just the second Big 12 player to ever rush for 1500+ yards while also catching for 500+ yards. The receiving potential is what would make Skattebo a perfect fit for Green Bay. Jacobs is infamously not known as a receiving back, and Skattebo would fill that role, giving the offensive another layer of dimension.

Right now, Skattebo is projected to go 86th to the Los Angeles Chargers, just one spot ahead of the Packers who hold the 87th pick. This means the Packers would have to trade up a couple of spots to snag the dynamic back.

Round 4 – Miles Frazier (OG)

The Packers have made some interesting moves at the offensive line position this off-season. Center Josh Meyers was allowed to walk in free agency, opting to slide Elgton Jenkins to center. This left a gap at left guard, which the Packers addressed by signing Aaron Banks to a massive deal. Miles Frazier could be the final piece to Green Bay’s offensive line offseason puzzle. Frazier is touted as one of the best pass protectors in his class. Blocking for Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels is proof of how proficient he is. In his last 20 games in college, Frazier only allowed one sack.

While he is the ultimate pass protector, he still has a long way to go when protecting the run. Luckily, Packers guard Sean Rhyan showed that he was more than capable of being a quality run blocker last season. Having a rotation of these two guards could be lethal for both the run and pass game.

Addressing The Elephant In The Room

Fans, critics, and anybody watching the Packers have called for them to draft a wide receiver early. Everybody believes that the Packers need to find a true number one and with most of the big free-agency targets gone, the draft is the only way. However, since the Packers didn’t go after any of the big fish in free agency, that window of finding a bonafide WR1 has passed. This draft won’t have the quality guy the Packers need, and they already have loads of young talent similar to that of the 2025 draft. It just wouldn’t make sense for the Packers to draft a WR, what they should have done was trade for one.

End Of My Green Bay Packers Mock Draft Rant

The Packers have an opportunity to fortify the less glamorous positions. The O-line, running back, secondary, and D-line would all get an immediate upgrade with these picks. The big question for Green Bay is will these guys still be available come their turn? Some analysts have Barron, Scourton, and Skattebo going slightly before the Packer’s picks. There is a good possibility that we see Green Bay trade up more than once in the 2025 NFL Draft.
