Philadelphia Phillies recall Right-Hand Pitcher From Triple-A Lehigh Valley After Two Appearances

The Philadelphia Phillies recalled right-hander Daniel Robert from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday. In a corresponding move, right-hander Alan Rangel was optioned to Lehigh Valley.

Robert has logged two appearances for the Phillies this season, allowing one run, one hit, and three walks in only 2/3 of an inning.

The 30-year-old produced a slightly larger sample size for the Texas Rangers last season, recording a 3.18 ERA and 1.412 WHIP in 5 2/3 innings.
