The former Valencia midfielder arrived at Albion back in the summer from Italian side Sassuolo, with the fanbase having high hopes for the new signing.
However, despite impressing on his debut, Racic’s stint at Albion is one that won’t remain long in the memory.
Racic did make 21 appearances for the club, which involved nine starts and 12 substitute appearances.
But he failed to make any sort of impact, and in January following the arrival of Tony Mowbray and the signing of midfielder Isaac Price, the Serbian returned to his parent club.
From there, he was loaned out again and returned to one of his former clubs, Portuguese side Braga, where he had previously enjoyed a successful loan stint.
So far he has made five appearances for the club, and according to reports in Italy, he could have done enough to secure a permanent move at the end of the season.
Reports state that the Portguese outfit, who currently sit fourth in their league behind big clubs Sporting, Benfica and Porto, are considering making the switch permanent.
Outlet A Bola claim that the club are weighing up whether to activate a €2.5 million activiation clause in the former Albion loanee’s contract.
